The Arts Alliance of Pine Rivers (AAPR) is a non-profit organisation, incorporated in February 2007, with the objective to support the interests of members by promoting arts and culture within the Pine Rivers District of the Moreton Bay Regional Council area. See About for further details.

The 43rd Annual Queensland Youth Music Awards

The 43rd Annual Queensland Youth Music Awards will be held on the weekend of the 28-29th August 2010 at the Albany Creek State primary School. The awards include:

Youth of the Year Awards for Secondary Soloists  
The Peter Campbell Realty Bursaries for Primary Soloists 
The Moreton Bay Regional Council Bursary for Secondary Soloist

2010 Arts Alliance Festival

The Arts Alliance 2010 Arts Festival will be an arts spectacular with a wide range of arts activities. The weekend event will feature a major art exhibition and competition with major art prizes on offer. A craft market will offer a wide range of exciting items, and the schools will be conducting an arts festival of song and dance. Visit the Show Information page.

VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED

The Arts Alliance is very keen to here from artists and supporters of the Arts who would like to assist with the 2010 Arts Festival.  You do not need to be an Arts Alliance member to volunteer. You can help in your area of interest from a few hours of the weekend of August 27-29 to a few hours a week leading up to the festival.  

The 3rd annual Pine Rivers Arts Festival is totally organised and funded by the Arts Alliance and will be held at Albany Creek State School.

Some of the activities include receipt and hanging of art work, catering, assisting with raffles, and guides for the public on the weekend.  Please email the webmaster@artsalliance.org.au  if you can assist, or phone Ray Swenson on 32643033.

Calling all Still Life Artists!

The Pine Rivers Art Gallery will be hosting a stunning group exhibition titled Still Life / Real Life,  which will celebrate the beauty and serenity of the “still life”. Exhibition dates:  5 January – 12 February, 2011. If you are a still life artist or an artist with a special still life just waiting to come out, then you can be a part of this exciting event.  Just send a simple expression of interest to the Pine Rivers Art Gallery.
