My earliest writing goes back to a Staff Magazine in a major Australian Company when I came 4th in Australia and overseas for a travel article I wrote whilst working in London(UK) many years ago.
Writing then took a back seat as I became active in choral and celtic choirs and later in music theatre.
After having been involved in most of the major choral choir works and Gilbert and Sullivan through music theatre it was time to give writing its proper priority in things cultural.
The performing arts has its place but all forms of writing are the basis of a civilised society. As a member of the Arana Writers Group I have contributed to the groups three Anthologies with articles factual, humorous, some fiction and travel tales.
I recommend that all aspiring writers join the Alliance and reap the benefits of meeting and participating in the Workshops, and Competitions that the Alliance organises.
