Elena Ventura loves doing portraits and human figures, but also paints various subjects that strike her fancy. She works mostly with oils, but also loves working with acrylic, watercolour, pastels and charcoal. Elena has been exhibiting her works in group exhibitions and had three major exhibitions in 2008.
Elena held a solo exhibition at Hardy Brothers Jewellers in September 2009, along with another group exhibition at the Martin Galleries. She has won several awards since she started painting again in 2005, and her work has been chosen finalist at the Doug Moran Portrait Prize 2009.
