Contemporary Dreaming

An exciting new exhibition featuring contemporary indigenous artists
Lloyd Hornsby, Deb Taylor and Raquel Jackson.
The exhibition also features unique contributions by children from Undurba State School, Pine Rivers State High School and Beachmere State School.
Opening: Saturday August 14, from 1pm
Exhibition dates: August 12 to September 25
There is also an exciting programme of activities for the duration of the exhibition.
Activities include:
- Clay workshop and artist talks with Deb Taylor,
- Story telling, boomerang painting and indigenous art and culture appreciation discussions with Lloyd Hornsby,
- Drawing and painting with Raquel Jackson,

Faces of Moreton
Would you like to be a famous face?

Terry Bouton is a Brisbane based artist who loves portraiture and is currently working on a series of works specifically about the people of Moreton Bay.
Terry is looking for volunteers of all ages to be part of her new body of work. Volunteers will sit for 1/2 hour and be photographed, drawn and or sculpted and will tell her about their favourite place in Moreton Bay.
Portrait days are: Wednesday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 31
Times: 10am to 3pm
