Food for Thought - 8X8 Caboolture

This event was held at the Caboolture Memorial Hall's Supper Room on Friday, 14 May .

This was a series of short talks by 8 Moreton Bay Regional artworkers. Each speaker spoke for 8 minutes.

One of the more interesting topics was that of Cosplay and Steam Punk, both of which are performance arts.

Richard Blackburn, a local author, gave an interesting talk on the importance of researching when writing historical fiction.

Richard Babarowski spoke on two topics: the new Seaside Museum on Bribie Island, and the Shakespearean influence on Moreton Bay regional Council art policy.

As always, the evening concluded with networking.
