Photography Bio

John Bayne commenced his interest in photography at school, as his father was a professional photographer and provided guidance. Initially his photography was focused on world travel through his working career as an officer in the British Navy. Family and career commitments delayed any development of new skills until later in life. He always retained his interest in photography, and has participated in amateur photography groups.

The advent of digital photography offered increased flexibility and he found a renewed interest in photography. He has taken an interest in new technology which enables portfolio options and expansion with features such as macro and underwater photography. As an amateur photographer, it is only in recent times that he has decided to show his work to the public in a structured manner. Photographic works have only recently been submitted for exhibition in the area.
